Development News: Bruce Arena debuts with LA tonight
On the ESPN networks tonight, their "Primetime Thursday" series is at the Home Depot Center to showcase an intriguing match...the Galaxy coaching debut of Bruce Arena, the winningest coach of the USMNT , who prior to that had guided DC United during their early years with great success...
Although Landon Donovan played just last night (for the USA in their 1-0 win at Guatemala in World Cup Qualifying), it's possible that he'll be able to rack up some minutes tonight against the Chicago Fire, too. He is needed, and as the league's leading-goal scorer (with 14), he is the best attacker who will be available, hopefully alongside Edson Buddle.
This will also be the first away match with the Fire for Brian McBride, who returned to MLS this past weekend, after Olympic Team duty. He is expected to be a big help up front for Chicago, and like LA's Donovan- Buddle duo, could work wonders for scoring the remainder of this season alongside Blanco.
This marquee match is live on national TV in both English and Spanish, and live on regional radio in both languages, as well. In Chicago, as with all Fire matches, it's also available on radio in Polish (1030 AM)... ENJOY =)
U.S. national TV: ESPN 2, ESPN Deportes L.A. Radio: AM 1150 (English), 1330 AM (Spanish)
