We are now into the final month of the regular season, and the Conference standings indicate that both the East and West tables are tighter than they have ever been in history, at such a late point in the season...
Among those benefiting from the round 27 results were the Colorado Rapids, who had a hat-trick from Conor Casey, including the game-winning goal in the 90th minute...in a nine-goal (5-4) match no less, also the highest-scoring game in the entire league this season !
For his extraordinary performance, Casey was voted by journalists as the MLS Player of the Week...
