Beckham Watch - Beckham Mania 2008 update

In case some of you haven't been paying attention, we'd like to get you up to speed on the whirlwind of Beckham Mania that has developed in the first month of the season, now continuing into Week 5...

David Beckham made his first league goal in spectacular fashion in Week 2 of the season, and that was the first evidence of how great this season may be for him and his team.  Days after that first goal and an assist in the same game - a 2-0 win over San Jose - Becks was named MLS Player of the Week.

In MLS Week 4, he paired with Landon Donovan on two goals, giving him his 2nd and 3rd assists.

Earlier this week, his new adidas campaign "Dream Big", in which he stars with numerous others,

made its U.S. debut during the UEFA Champions' League Semifinals.
