This quick post is a reminder to fans that ESPN has a nationally-televised game tonight; "MLS Primetime Thursday" features Galaxy coming off their huge win just this past Saturday, as they travel to Chicago to take on the Fire at Toyota Park...
LA hopes to get something going on in the way of a winning streak, which would greatly helps their chances of securing a post-season berth for the first time since 2005 (also when they last won the MLS Cup). The squad should be at full strength again tonight. Fire, also MLS Cup winners of the past, are struggling to keep their heads afloat in September, with this month's poor results catching them in a struggle to hold on to a playoff spot themselves. Star strikers Blanco and McBride lead the way.
